Our independent walking and hiking packages offer the freedom of unguided tramping, but with added luxuries like pre-arranged accommodation and lunches. See our independent (unguided) walking packages at the bottom of the page.
As a general rule, if you are more independent of spirit but would still like certain elements such as your accommodation, transport and daily lunch arranged, then the independent packages are for you. Or, perhaps you want a custom package designed – we can do that for you too!

As part of your independent walk package, $5 goes to the Queen Charlotte Track Tribute Fund. This fund was established in October 2007 as part of an important step forward to ensure this will always be a place of rare beauty and freedom. The money collected through the tribute system is invested in a trust fund that will be used to look after the best interests of the track. In the spirit of sustainability, the Queen Charlotte Track Tribute Fund is setting an example for the rest of the world and by walking the track, you support this initiative.
